Well American culture is the "mainstream" or "pop culture" that influences to the world. We set the standards and other countries follow. They want a successful and thriving economy much like ours! We've made many ground breaking innovations! Sending a man to the moon! Nuclear weapons! Free economy! Freedom of Speech! We have so many things that we take for granted that we're blind to see them but rest of the world does and they try to follow in our footsteps. We see American name brands such as Coke and Mickey Mouse and many other things that we find that's part of our "American Culture".
